From Our Collections: C. W. Miller

An Aircraft in Distress Has the Right-of-Way Over All Other Traffic

The Archives recently received the papers of aeronautical engineer Charles W. Miller. Throughout his career he worked at a number of companies in the aerospace industry, including Lockheed subsidiary Vega Aircraft, Northrop Aircraft, and TRW, Inc.

In 1945, Miller created these illustrations as part of a booklet "Do You Know the Flight Rules?"
